‘Malavita’ is obviously violent but I couldn’t help but laugh

Don’t Mess With Me is a mafia film directed by Luc Bessonier. But it’s “black” partly because of the gangster background, and partly because of the dark comedy atmosphere from start to finish. Can you imagine the life of a family of gangsters? And how does a family of gangsters live their lives when they want to be “good”? In a word, it’s adorable!

The film stars Robert De Niro as the main character.

De Niro, with his big brother face, plays the role of Fred, a mafia boss. As a tainted witness for his boss, he is accused of betraying his Mafia family. He then accepts the Witness Protection Program and moves to a small town in France with his family. Expecting to live a normal life and hide the bloodshed of the past, however, the Mafia organisation is always after him ……

After countless storms of calm, the hero’s family moves to a small town called Normandy (no doubt about it, it’s the same Normandy you’re thinking of). They are ready to try their hand at ordinary life once more. It’s not easy for the family to fit in – the wife is discriminated against in the town supermarket for no reason.

In the face of the shopkeeper’s sarcasm, Michelle Pfeiffer’s wife goes from trying to hold back to putting up with it (that’s acting skills). But of course the wife of a gangster is not going to take it so well! Just see her casually take down a few items and make them in minutes Bomb …… Yes, bomb …… So say you learn mathematics and chemistry ah, otherwise you are not even qualified to enter the gangster. After bombing people’s shops, they still leave without losing their elegance, domineering and handsome. On the other hand, a pair of children have also inherited good gangster genes from their parents. Firstly, the youngest son started to get beaten up by the school bully and his men. He put up with it at first – after all, he was going to be a normal person, so how could he move to strike?

But, there was no need to put up with it any longer. Soon, with his strong intelligence gathering skills, he easily kicks the school bully’s ass. The school life of his sister is not much better – although she is a beautiful girl, her beauty is also a source of trouble. When she’s being flirted with on the way out of school, she’ll turn around and give you a pat on the back with a smile! The girl is beautiful and handsome! The man’s life is relatively quiet. He starts writing his memoirs on a typewriter. In conversation with his neighbours, he lies about being a writer.

When the neighbour asks him what he does for a living, Robert De Niro’s eyes slant upwards to the right and then back again, in a typical process of consciousness creation. The smallest details are enough to show that a powerhouse is a powerhouse, and that acting and heart are not to be denied!

Overall, the family’s struggle to be normal is wonderfully entertaining. The subtlety and unnaturalness of the film is an alternative look at the family’s past. This kind of violence at the drop of a hat is something that can’t be changed overnight!

For this family, life can’t be peaceful for three days. One minute they are afraid that their identity will be revealed, and the next minute they are being pursued – their son’s assignment in the school newspaper reveals the location of the family: at the same time, “storms” are coming on the family. The eldest daughter, for example, has fallen in love with a French schoolboy, only to find out that he is a scumbag.

The first daughter is in love with a French schoolboy, but it turns out he’s a jerk. …… What the jerk says on the phone is so bad that even the FBI, which is in charge of listening to the family, can’t stand it. The fact is, the things that happen in adolescence are nothing compared to the gunfire. And when the enemy comes after them, the family, young and old, plus a dog, are all on board, and it’s so thrilling and funny you can’t stop watching!

Here’s the beauty of Don’t Mess With Me: the violence is transformed into a richly comic drama. The result is that you can’t help but laugh even when they’re being serious about being mean. The camera transitions are also smooth and funny. One of the most memorable scenes is when the daughter and her lover are in the middle of a fight and the camera suddenly pans to the dad at the dinner table and shouts “FUCK!

What to do, when all is said and done, is to think that this gangster family is cool and amusing. The hero, in particular, insists that he’s a good guy. One of the reasons: in my neighbourhood, because of me, there is not even burglary. People live peacefully and sleep soundly. The dean actually thought he had a good point …… That’s the kind of man who is such a cool dick to raise such a sexy and handsome daughter, right?
