‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ opens up a new story line in the Marvel Universe

  • July 22, 2014

Welcome to Guardians of the Galaxy, the 10th installment of the Marvel Final Wars series.
Before we talk about this movie, we can take a side trip to see how hot the Guardians of the Galaxy series is. This brings us to James Gunn, the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy series. James Gunn (Rolling Director), another Marvel-obsessed fan involved in the production of the Marvel Universe.

James Gunn’s passion and familiarity with Marvel made him one of the executive producers of The Revenant 3 for a time, why “for a time”, because soon James Gunn was going to be at the lowest point of his career. The lowest point of James Gunn’s directorial career was soon to come. After James Gunn’s In July 2018, after James Gunn’s successful directorial run on Guardians of the Galaxy, American social media personality (what we commonly call a notice artist), author and conspiracy theorist Mike Cernovich, unearthed a number of James Gunn’s online posts from many years ago. Guinn many years ago, joking about many topics such as inappropriate for children on the internet.

With the ME TOO movement in 2018, women’s equality, and all sorts of political correctness taking hold in America, James Guinn’s inappropriate comments from many years ago are a good example. Guinn’s various inappropriate comments from years ago made him sensitive enough on these topics that Disney Dad had to make some harsh decisions. As we all know, Disney is all about family fun and making fun, and they have strict guidelines for their productions and the filmmakers in their productions, not to mention that Disney itself is the biggest incarnation of political correctness.

So, Disney Dad fired James Gunn and “drove him away”. So Daddy Disney fired James Gunn and “expelled” him. James Gunn was back in the saddle when the script for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was finished and on the drawing board. The news of his dismissal was met with public outcry and Disney soon received nearly 400,000 signatures asking Disney to consider rehiring James Gunn. Guinn.

Time came at the end of 2018 and Sony Pictures quickly recruited James Gunn. The trailer for a horror film, Bright Lights, states that the producer is James Gunn. Gurnee. DC’s Suicide Squad 2, also directed and written by James Gunn. He also directed and wrote the screenplay.

By 2019, Disney finally sat back and waited until the wind wasn’t so tight, and in March, a few days before Disney wrote the script, James. Gurnee was rehired to direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3. So it’s clear that James Gunn is talented, and that he’s going to be the director of Guardians of the Galaxy. It is clear that James Gunn’s talent, and the popularity of the Guardians of the Galaxy series, which has a tone and style that is tied to James Gunn’s work, are inextricably linked. This is something that Disney’s dad has known for a long time, right?

Of course, saying all that here doesn’t mean that Satoshi agrees with James Gunn. James Gunn’s earlier comments. He was also duly punished and tarnished in his previous outbursts. I’m just saying that I understand the internet environment back then. It’s just that I can understand the internet environment back then, James Gunn’s big jokes when the internet was relatively unregulated, and, if you look at his work history, you can see that his earlier work was some huge B-grade stuff, full of porn and gore and, of course, more than the average person would understand.

So when he was making those films back then, his realistic remarks were, predictably, on a large scale. He would never have imagined back then that his enthusiasm for Marvel comics, especially Guardians of the Galaxy, would become the pinnacle of his directing career. With Guardians of the Galaxy, the 10th entry in the Marvel Universe, Marvel has taken another bold step in extending its ambitions into cosmic storytelling, which is clearly another big gamble.

With a team like Guardians of the Galaxy, audiences will be very unfamiliar with the film, and the cast will be unknown, with no big stars to set the film apart. The real claim to fame is the voice of Bradley Cooper for Raccoon and Van Diesel for Groot from The Fast and the Furious. And Groot only has one line.

But Guardians of the Galaxy is very immersive for the audience, and there’s another important factor, which I’ll leave to the end of our analysis of the plot. Marvel producer Kevin Feige has always been confident. Fergie has always been confident that his aim is to find people who really know Marvel to tell the stories of superheroes.

Of course, telling a story off Earth would obviously be too big a step to take, so Guardians of the Galaxy begins on Earth, with a young boy named Peter, but not Spider-Man, who loves songs so much that the death of his mother makes him half a beat slower than everyone else.

By the time Peter reacts, he has been taken away by an alien ship. Twenty-six years later, Peter grows up and gives himself the nickname Star-Lord. He is raised by the intergalactic thief Yondu, who becomes a master thief. With the aura of a protagonist, Star-Lord soon finds the treasure ball and is about to leave when he is stopped by the Kree army led by Ronan. Using his little ingenuity, Star-Lord quickly repels them and arrives on the thriving planet Sandal, where Star-Lord wants to trade the Baby Ball for money.

On the other hand, Yondu, knowing he’s been tricked by his godson, puts out a bounty for Star-Lord’s capture, alive of course, and Raccoon and Groot go running off to capture Star-Lord on Sandar because of the bounty. Meanwhile Ronan and Myrmidon hug it out, and Myrmidon’s adopted daughter, Gemora, goes to Sandar to get the baby ball. So they all fight each other on Sandar for various purposes and end up in jail by the Sandar city police.

In the prison, they met Drax, who never wore clothes. Drax’s whole family was killed by Ronan, so his simple mind thought of killing Gymora to avenge his family’s death, and soon his simple mind, after being persuaded by Star-Lord, joined them. Taking advantage of their common interest, Star-Lord convinces everyone to sell the Baby Ball and split the money equally, so they escape from prison to the realm of the Know-Nothing and find the rare collector Tanaril. It turns out that inside the Orb is a Power Gem, from which we finally begin to understand the origins and functions of the Infinity Stones.

Just as they are about to sell the Gem of Power, the collector’s assistant tries to take it for himself, leading to an explosion, and then Drax, a pig of a teammate, shares his position with Ronan, with the intention of killing him for revenge. Star-Lord and his team have to escape in the ore ship. After a fight, Nebula blows up Gomorrah and grabs the power gem. Star-Lord gives his oxygen mask to Gomorrah who is floating in outer space in order to save him, and Yondu receives Star-Lord’s coordinates to pull them both back to the ship.

When Ronan learns that the baby ball is the Power Gem, he dumps the exterminator and takes the Power Gem for himself, ready to destroy the planet Sandal. Star-Lord promises Yondu that he will get the Power Gem for him, so the Guardians of the Galaxy gear up and head to Sandals to fight Ronan to the death. The battle is a visual treat, with lots of aerial combat and high-tech weaponry that will leave you dazzled. Star-Lord and his team manage to infiltrate Ronan’s ship, causing it to explode, and Groot uses his body to make a protective ball to fall to the ground to protect everyone.

Just as Ronan was about to destroy the planet Sandal, I was tempted to ask where Captain Marvel had gone, after Captain Marvel left Earth in the 90’s she said she was going to end the Kree’s thousands of years of war, only to have Captain Marvel not show up at such a crucial time, let’s see how The Revenant 4 comes full circle then. Anyway, this is when Star-Lord does a very age-appropriate disco to distract Ronan, Raccoon and Drax blast away Ronan’s hammer, Star-Lord grabs the Power Gem, and the Guardians of the Galaxy family share the Power Gem’s power and manage to wipe Ronan out.

In the end Star-Lord gave the fake Power Gem orb to Yondu and gave the real Power Gem to Sandal Star for safekeeping. While I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy, I couldn’t help but think about The Avengers, the multitude of heroes of the reunion, which had to be sunk through five previous entries to make people more aware of S.H.I.E.L.D. and familiar with superheroes like Iron Man, Team America, Thor and Hulk, while Guardians of the Galaxy, in one straightforward movie, introduces a team that defends justice.

We can also compare the richness of the characters in The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, with The Avengers being the first film to give a clearer idea of the superheroes, and Guardians of the Galaxy throwing out the team first and then refining each character later. So Guardians of the Galaxy will be assembled in a very different way to The Avengers, with a sense of autonomy and serendipity, and because of this we will see the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy assembling more naturally and eventually forming a united force as a family. As I said earlier, Guardians of the Galaxy puts the story in outer space, but does so in a way that gives the audience a sense of immersion. Another important reason for this is the film’s soundtrack, the film score for Guardians of the Galaxy, which is also a cassette of songs from one of Star-Lord’s cassette tapes, featuring the golden hits that dominated the music charts of American pop in the 70s and 80s.

The clever thing about the film is that these songs can also be heard by the characters, thus creating a bridge between the audience and the characters.

Guardians of the Galaxy also gives us our first glimpse at the face of the Exterminators, who, despite being a purely generic character, is the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe to date. And of course the Infinity Stones, which affect the landscape of the universe.
